FAR : Potential for 1.1 billion barrels of oil offshore The Gambia

FAR Limited have released an announcement following RISC’s recent independent resources review for FAR’s A2 & A5 offshore blocks in The Gambia to support their geotechnical evaluation and assessment of hydrocarbon resources.

RISC’s report has the combined prospective resources for the two blocks assessed at 1.1 billion barrels (unrisked, Best Estimate, recoverable, 100% basis) with 926 million barrels net to FAR.
