Ian Gladman brings over 25 years of international experience across the energy industry, including upstream oil and gas, LNG, refining and gas processing. His career spans technical and commercial roles in process and facilities design, field development, strategy and due diligence.
In recent years, Ian has worked with clients on energy transition studies, helping them develop potential pathways to net zero in the North Sea. His work has included the evaluation of alternative fuels, renewable energy integration, carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS), and offshore electrification strategies.
A Chartered Chemical Engineer, Ian combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial insight. His analytical approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes are valued by clients and colleagues alike.
Ian holds a Master of Energy, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School, UK as well as a Master of Chemical Engineering with Environmental Management from the University of Birmingham, UK. He also holds ISO-14064 (1, 2 and 3) certifications in the quantification, verification and validation of greenhouse gas emissions and statements.
