CO₂ storage in Australia’s Canning Basin

RISC recently worked with GeoVault, a subsidiary of Buru Energy, to validate their work on the CO₂ storage potential for areas in and around Buru’s petroleum licences and permits.

Companies around Australia continue to examine the potential for CO₂ storage and how it could contribute to net zero.

RISC has over 20 years of experience in advising on CO₂ Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) projects. We support the full lifecycle CCUS projects and have extensive experience in CO₂ capture technologies, injection methodologies, regulatory approval considerations, storage site requirements, and feasibility studies of reservoirs for potential carbon storage locations.

For more information on RISC’s recent project with GeoVault, see the full release from Buru Energy or contact us.
