Helping Rotary and Marquee to present sembako packages during Ramadan

During the month of Ramadan, people (moslem and non-moslem) in Indonesia gather together to share with those less fortunate.

Marquee Executive Offices and Rotary Club Indonesia jointly organised a charity event whereby businesses donate food parcels to people in need.

RISC is proud to have been able to assist this wonderful cause.  Our donation went towards packages of “sembako” (basic food parcels containing 2.5kg of rice, 1kg of sugar and 1L of cooking oil).   2,000 sembako packages were presented to underprivileged people at Istiqlal Mosque, South East Asia’s largest mosque, on Thursday 9 July 2015.
