Bill Billingsley

Bill Billingsley has over 30 years of international experience covering SE Asia and Northern Europe. He has a deep understanding of private and listed businesses which combines with his extensive M&A experience, allowing him to deliver exceptional upstream insights.

Bill has a background in petroleum engineering including reservoir engineering, implementation, production operations, due diligence for M&A and financing (including debt financing), reserves assessment and technical process developments.

He is a Past Chairman of the SPE NSW & ACT Section, Past SPE Australia Council Member and has become known for his ability to naturally communicate complex issues in demanding environments.

Immediately prior to joining RISC, Bill Billingsley was worked with a start‐up, Questus Energy, that developed and implemented a strategy for an upstream energy fund manager. Despite a general slowing in the industry, Questus placed AUD 2 Billion in binding offers in aggregate in under 2 years.
