RISC confirms West Erregulla 2C of 513 Bscf gross gas with significant upside potential for Warrego Energy

RISC recently completed an independent third party review of the hydrocarbon resources of the West Erregulla field, EP 469, in the North Perth Basin, Western Australia for Warrego Energy (Warrego). RISC’s report confirms that the West Erregulla gas field is a significant discovery, with 513 billions standard cubic feet (Bscf) of gross gas existing in just one well. The independent evaluation of West Erregulla was commissioned by Warrego to provide certainty to potential gas buyers and optimise term and price outcomes in negotiations for gas processing and sales.

Yesterday Warrego Energy release a statement to the ASX confirming RISC’s findings in the third party review. Please click here to read the full media release.

The West Erregulla Field is located in EP 469 and was discovered by the West Erregulla-2 well in 2019. West Erregulla was considered one of the most significant discoveries in Australia in 2019 and extended the exciting Waitsia Early Permian petroleum system.
